A FEW USEFUL ANSWERS

Before you begin.

What do I need to run LensAid?+

A Mac with Apple Silicon and macOS 14 or later. Local transcription currently supports English and needs a one-time model download of approximately 600 MB. AI guidance needs an internet connection.

How do I install the app?+

Download the ZIP, extract it and move LensAid to Applications. Open the app, prepare the local transcription model and grant the microphone and screen/audio capture permissions requested by macOS.

Can I combine the free credits?+

Yes. Eligible users can receive 35 onboarding credits and an additional 100 credits from the public beta, for 135 free credits in total. Claim the 35 at the Credits step of app setup with Send code, then add your beta code in Credits → Redeem a code. The beta bonus is limited to the first 20 accepted testers. When those places are filled, the 35-credit offer and normal purchases remain available.

How do credits work?+

One credit equals one live minute. Answers during a live session are included. Preparation and review actions have separate prices shown on Pricing and in the app’s Credits section. Codes access their remaining balance; entering a code again never duplicates the purchase.

Do I need an account or my own API key?+

No. Add your reusable credit code in the app. LensAid manages the AI connection. Keep your original code so you can restore its remaining balance later.

Can I request beta access again with the same email?+

No. Each normalized email can request beta access once. Keep the original verification email and save your reusable code after confirmation.

How does LensAid help during my interview?+

LensAid transcribes the conversation and suggests answers in real time using your CV, role and conversation context. It keeps context for follow-up questions, and you can revisit the transcript and recap after the call.
