LensAid is the better fit when you want a Mac interview companion organized around your CV, a role and prepaid use. Stealth Interview is a candidate for a more technical workflow built around coding problems. The choice should turn on preparation needs, operating system and commitment length, not an unsupported claim that one assistant always answers better. [1][2][4]

Compare the problem each tool is built around

LensAid helps connect your experience to a job description, prepare relevant answers and revisit a transcript and recap after the call. It runs on Apple Silicon Macs with macOS 14 or later, using English transcription. That combination suits a candidate who wants to prepare examples as well as receive live suggestions. [1]

Stealth Interview describes a macOS and Windows desktop app that reads coding questions on screen and provides solutions, explanations and complexity analysis. Its own comparison page explicitly says it has no resume builder or browser version. These are vendor-described boundaries, not absences inferred from a short feature list. [4]

During a technical interview, a useful suggestion should address the question being asked and make the reasoning clear. For experience-based questions, LensAid uses your CV and role context to keep its live guidance relevant to your background. [1]

Understand the three commitment lengths

Stealth Interview’s official pricing page listed Starter at $49 per month, Premium at $150 for six months, and Hunter at $250 per year. It lists unlimited usage with Starter and additional model and support benefits on higher plans. These figures were checked on 22 September 2026. [5]

The six-month and yearly totals should remain visible in a comparison. Dividing a long commitment into an attractive monthly number does not reduce the amount due for that term. Pick a period that matches your expected use instead of assuming the smallest monthly equivalent is the least expensive way to start.

LensAid has no recurring subscription. One prepaid credit covers one live minute, with preparation actions priced separately; live answers, screenshots and follow-ups are included during live time. A 60-minute interview therefore needs 60 live credits before preparation. Check the current pack total and applicable taxes on its pricing page. [2]

A high-frequency user may value unlimited access more than an occasional user does. We have not established a quality-adjusted cost comparison or a universal break-even point. The defensible LensAid advantage is avoiding a recurring commitment when that is your preference.

The current LensAid offer starts at €6.99 for 50 credits, excluding applicable checkout taxes. That is an entry pack, not unlimited access or an equivalent bundle to every competing plan. Prices were checked on 22 September 2026. [2][6]

Local transcription and realistic limits

LensAid documents local speech recognition, while AI guidance sends relevant context to OpenAI and sends screenshots when capture is requested. It is therefore accurate to call its transcription local, but inaccurate to describe the whole assistant as offline. [3]

This article does not establish Stealth Interview’s transcription processing location. Nor does it turn either vendor’s screen-sharing language into a guarantee. LensAid limits its own visibility statement to tested screen-sharing setups; the relevant test is the setup and permissions you will actually use. [1]

Which one belongs on your shortlist?

Choose LensAid if you use a supported Mac and want CV and role preparation together with prepaid live guidance. Consider Stealth Interview if coding-problem analysis or Windows support is your deciding requirement, and its commitment lengths fit your schedule. [1][2][4][5]

During the conversation, follow the technical question and the interviewer’s follow-ups. Afterward, use the transcript and recap to revisit how the discussion developed. LensAid brings live guidance and session review into the same Mac workspace. [1]
